Kasey and Esther Smith are the area leaders of International Friendships Inc. (IFI) in Lancaster, PA. They mobilize and train teams of volunteers to serve International students in Lancaster County. They reach international students through hospitality and friendship.
Some ways they serve students include hosting, transportation, events, field trips, friendship/conversation partners, and Bible discovery groups. They also help serve the physical and spiritual needs of a number of immigrants and refugees in Lancaster, which has been dubbed “America’s Refugee Capital.”
Their vision is to reach the nations by first developing friendships with students, leading them to Christ, and discipling them to disciple others when they leave the Lancaster area and go into every corner of the world.
Kasey and Esther faithfully attended CCC and served with the children’s ministry and connection groups from 2008-2015 before being called into full time ministry after traveling on a series of short term missions trips to Guatemala with other members of CCC. They served as missionaries in Guatemala from 2015-2022 before launching a new ministry to International Students in Lancaster.
Kasey and Esther live in Millersville and have four children: Abigail, Hannah, Benaiah, and Ezra.
